The Data Safety Alliance is a global organization dedicated to protecting the rights of platform workers and ensuring transparent, fair data practices across the tech industry.

Our mission is to empower platform workers with the knowledge and tools to reclaim their personal data, negotiate fair compensation, and hold AI companies accountable for ethical data usage.

We believe that the invisible workers powering AI should be armed with the knowledge of knowing what data is being taken from them, where it's going to and how it's being used and for what reason/purpose.

Our values, which centre respect, solidarity, care and inclusivity, inform the way we support platform workers in gig/normal employment and serve the wider labour movement.
